The Festo DSBC‑C is a standards-based ISO 15552 pneumatic cylinder featuring an integrated spring-executed clamping cartridge on the piston rod, enabling secure static holding of the rod in any position—even under variable load, pressure fluctuations, or system leaks. This makes it ideal for positioning, workpiece clamping, or load-holding in automated systems.

Available in bore sizes of 32 to 125 mm with strokes up to 2,000 mm, and options for male/female threads or through rod, it supports easy integration. The integrated ISO mounting simplifies installation. Holding forces range from 600 N at 32 mm to 7,500 N at 125 mm, released pneumatically.
