The SLM AV Series by Klaus Union is a single-stage, horizontal centrifugal pump designed for extreme process conditions. Powered by a hermetically sealed permanent magnet, it eliminates mechanical seals and potential leakage. A containment shell ensures full damage control while fluid remains isolated from the environment.
Equipped with silicon carbide journal bearings, these pumps deliver reliable, maintenance-free performance. Available in configurations for oil-lubricated or grease-for-life anti-friction bearings, they suit various operational environments.
Operating across a wide thermal to cryogenic range (–200 °C to +450 °C) and confident under high pressure (PN 400), the SLM AV is ideal for critical services involving aggressive, toxic, explosive, or valuable fluids. Optional metallic or non-metallic containment shells, and custom materials (Hastelloy, Titanium), further adapt the pump to customer-specific applications.
